Cost of the Service
If you don’t pay for prescriptions, all medicines supplied through Care at the Chemist will be free. If you usually pay for prescriptions, you’ll only need to cover the cost of the medicine.
How It Works Our pharmacist will ask you some questions to ensure the medication is right for you. If not, they may refer you to your GP or offer advice without providing any medicines.
Will I Be Seen Straight Away?
You can now book a time slot with our pharmacist for Care at the Chemist, making it easier to fit the consultation into your schedule. Walk-ins are also available, but you may have to wait if we’re busy. If your issue is urgent, you can still visit your GP.
Does This Replace Seeing a Doctor?
No, this service is for minor ailments only. You can still see your GP when necessary, but using this scheme helps free up GP time for more serious cases.
